Before you deploy your brand new iMacs loaded with Windows, make sure Windows identifies that puny keyboard that comes with the iMacs by default. We recently deployed 50 iMacs that were imaged from a machine that had the traditional large Apple keyboard attached. When Windows came up while the small keyboards were attached, we couldn’t hit ctrl+alt+delete. The decision was made to order traditional MS keyboards for the whole room anyways so the problem was avoided.
Just be sure you create your Windows image on a machine with the smaller keyboard attached and working properly. Better yet, get the no cost upgrade to the full keyboard. We have learned the hard way but won’t forget to tell our rep that we need the large keyboards in the future.

I dont know about your Apple rep, but we bought over 200 iMacs and did not realize that we had ordered the stuby keyboards and Apple sent us the new numpad ones and we got to keep the stuby ones. Might talk to them about that or swap them. Good to know with those and windows images. Thanks for the info!
We didn’t care about getting the bigger keyboards for this area but I’ll check into it. Thanks for the tip.
